Adjusting the Alarm and Monitor Volume

You can set the volume for the alarm and monitor tones that this machine emits during a fax

transmission.
NOTE
• The alarm tone sounds when sending or receiving is cancelled.
• The monitor tone sounds when it connects to the recipient's fax machine.
• The default settings for both the Alarm Volume and Monitor Volume are in the middle (4), on a scale of 0
to 8.

User Settings
Press [Light] or [Dark] to set the scanning density
The selected mode is set.
Press [Custom Fax Settings]

Select [ ] or [ ] to set the Alarm Volume and Monitor Volume
[OK].
You can set the volume to any level on a scale of 0 to 8.
If you set the volume to 0, the volume is muted and no tone will be emitted.
