Changing the Zoom Ratio

You can set the machine to adjust the zoom ratio automatically, or you can specify the zoom
ratio manually.
IMPORTANT
• If you are scanning an original larger than A3, the original image may be cut off slightly in printing.
• The maximum size of an image that you can be sent at 600 x 600 dpi resolution is A3. If the image

exceeds this number of pixels in either the horizontal or vertical direction, it may be cut off.
NOTE
Even though you specify the size of the document you are sending, it may be printed on different size
paper depending on the recipient's machine.

Preset Zoom

You can scan the originals after enlarging/reducing them to a standard record size.
Reduction
The available preset zoom ratios for reducing originals are:
A3 A4 (70%)
A3 A5 (50%)
Enlargement
The available preset zoom ratios for enlarging originals are:
A5 A3 (200%)
A4 A3 (141%)
