Sending with a Subaddress

You can send or receive documents with ITU-T standard subaddresses and passwords (ITU-T
is a committee within the International Telecommunications Union, established to set
communications standards). The subaddresses and passwords must be dialed in addition to
2
the fax numbers. In order for a transaction to succeed, the subaddresses and passwords on the
sending and receiving fax units must match.
IMPORTANT
Subaddresses cannot be used with [Redial].
NOTE
You can register a subaddress and password in a One-touch Speed Dialing or Coded Speed Dialing
Memory. (See "One-Touch Speed Dialing Settings," on p. 5-20.)
