Messages

When an error occurs, the display may show one of the messages listed below. These will help you identify and correct
the problem.
NOTE
When a transmission error occurs, a sent/receipt result report is produced.
Check the error code shown in the report and refer to
receipt result report, refer to
7.
You may also check error codes using the activity report. (Refer to
FAX Rpt) on page 7-9.)
Message
Box limit exceeded. Job is
canceled.
Cannot use this function.
>> FAX Transmission
Error occurred. Turn the power
switch off and on.
FAX memory is full.
File is not found.
Job is canceled.
Incorrect account ID. Job is
canceled.
Incorrect Login User Name or
Password. Job is canceled.
Insufficient memory. Cannot
start the job.
Load paper in cassette #.
Press OK to continue using
cassette #.
Machine failure. Call service.
Maximum Number of scanned
pages. Job is canceled.

Corrective Action
The specified box is full, and no further
storage is available; Job is canceled.
Press the [OK] key. Try to perform the job
again after printing or deleting data from
the box.
This job is canceled because it is
restricted by User Authorization or Job
Accounting. Press the [OK] key.
System error has occurred. Turn the main
power switch OFF and then ON.
FAX cannot be performed any more due
to insufficient memory. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.
The specified file is not found. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.
The account ID was incorrect when
processing the job externally. The job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.
The login user name or password was
incorrect when processing the job
externally. The job is canceled. Press the
[OK] key.
Job cannot be started. Try again later.
Load paper.
Select [Paper] to select the other paper
source. Press the [OK] key to print on the
paper in the currently selected paper
source.
An error has occurred in the machine.
Make a note of the error code displayed
on the message display, and contact your
service representative.
Cannot scan pages any more. Job is
canceled. Press the [OK] key.
