Oil Strainer Cleaning - Honda 1984 Shadow VT700C Manual

Remove the following parts:
- clutch assembly (page 7·11) .
- oil pump driven sprod<.et by removing the
bolt and washer.
- gear sh ift linkage (page 9 ·2) .
Pull the oi l strainer downward out of t he oil pump.
Remove the oil pump by removing the mounting
bolts and remove the oi l strainer.
Remo ve the O·ring and do wel pin.
OIL STRAINER CLEANING
Clean the oil strainer with non-flammabl e solvent .
