Clutch Slave Cylinder Assembly - Honda 1984 Shadow VT700C Manual

CLUTCH
ASSEMBLY
Assemble the slave cylinder in the reverse order of
disassembly. The seals must be replaced with new
ones whenever they have been removed .
Lubricate
the pistOfl
and piston seal with a medium
grade of Hi-Temperature silicone grease or brake
fluid before assembly.
Be certain
the
piston seal is seated in tile pistOfl
groove, Place the piston in the cylinder with the oil
seal end facing out.
Install the insu lator and slave cylinder.
Connect the clutch hose with the oil bolt and the
two sealing washe rs.
Install the slave cylinder cover.
Fill the clutch fluid reservoir and bleed
the
clutch
syste m (page 7-4).
