VALVE GUIDE REPLACEMENT
Heat the cylinder head to
1()ltc
1212° F) with a
hot plate or oven.
CAUTI ON,
heavy gloves when
head.
Do
not use a torch to hmt the cylinder
head;
it may couse warping.
Support the cylinder head and drive out the old
guides from the combustion chamber side of the
cylinder head .
NOTE :
I
Avoid damaging t he cylinder head .
Drive new guides in from the rocker arm side of the
cylinder head.
