This chapter describes how to set user preferences that apply to the whole system.
Use the User Preferences screen to set preferences that apply to the whole system:

The following table describes the fields on the User Preferences screen.
Description
Specify the unit name. Can be up to 14 alphanumeric characters.
Specify how stored video clips are listed. Options are:
Reverse chronological, chronological (default)
Set up the Graphical User Interface (GUI) inactivity time out, in minutes. Options
are:
0 to 240. Default is five minutes. After this amount of inactivity time you will be
automatically logged out.
When set to 0, the GUI never times out.
Choose to have the text on all HRDV screens appear in the language of your
choice. Options are:
English (default), French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese
