Description
Count of non-corrected write errors. The more errors present
(lower attribute value) the worse the condition of the disk
surface.
Drive is Locked (WDC). Shift of disk is possible as a result of
strong shock loading. This attribute is an indication of
shock-sensitive sensor—total quantity of errors appearance
as a result of impact loads (for example, dropping the drive).
Drive Failed the Test (WDC). Loading on drive caused by the
general operating time of hours it stores.
Errors Repaired (WDC). Loading on drive caused by
numerous recurrences of operations (for example, reading,
recording, positioning of heads).
Errors Not Repaired (WDC). Loading on drive caused by
friction in mechanical parts of the store. Errors found that have
not been repaired. There were too many errors found on this
drive to be repaired. Replace the drive.
Sector Relocation Error (WDC). General time to load the drive.
Failure to relocate a sector during drive repair. The drive has
been replaced.
Time it takes to position the head.
