If the system status LED is on but the RPS status LED is off, an RPS input failure has occurred.
Verify the following items:
The switch is securely connected to the RPS.
The RPS is correctly working.
If the problem persists, contact HP Support for help.

Hot swappable power supply failure

This section applies to the 5800-48G-PoE+ (2 slots), 5800-48G-PoE+ TAA (2 slots), 5800AF-48G,
5800-24G-SFP
5820X-24XG-SFP+ TAA, 5820X- 1 4XG-SFP+ (2 slots), and 5820X- 1 4XG-SFP+ TAA (2 slots) switches.
Look at the PWR1 or PWR2 LED of the switch and the LEDs on the power supply to identify a power
supply failure.
The 5800AF-48G/5820AF-24XG switch does not have PWR1 or PWR2 LED. You can use the LEDs on
the power supply to identify a power supply failure.

Troubleshooting the

If the power supply system is correctly working, the power supply status LEDs are steady green. If the LEDs
behave in any other way, verify the following items:
The power supply is switched on. Skip this step if the power supply has no switch.
The switch power cord is correctly connected.
The power source meets the requirement.
The operating temperature of the switch is in the normal range and the power supply has good
ventilation.
If the problem persists, contact HP Support for help.

The LEDs on the power supply are steady green (active) or blinking green (standby) while the power
supply system is correctly working. If the LEDs behave in any other way, verify the following items:
The switch power cord is correctly connected.
The power source meets the requirement.
The operating temperature of the switch is in the normal range and the power supply has good
ventilation.
If the problem persists, contact HP Support for help.
