This is a Class A product based on the standard of the Voluntary Control Council for Interference by
Information Technology Equipment (VCCI). If this equipment is used in a domestic environment,
radio disturbance may arise. When such trouble occurs, the user may be required to take corrective
actions.

Warranty

FastIron devices include a 5-year limited lifetime warranty.

Pinouts and signaling

This section lists the pinouts for the DB-9 connector and RJ-45 port jacks.
Serial (console) port pinouts
The Console port is a standard male DB-9 connector, as shown in the following figure:

Most PC serial ports require a cable with a female DB-9 connector. However, terminal connections
will vary, requiring a cable with either a DB-9 or DB-25 connector, male or female.
Serial cable options between the FastIron LS device and a PC or terminal are shown in
