3. Diagnostic Aids

Start

This chapter describes procedures you can use to identify printer
failures and verify that repairs have corrected the problem.

Performing Self Test

At power–up, each LED turns on and off in reverse sequence,
wer–up, each LED turns on and off in reverse sequence,
starting with Press Button and ending with Ready. Each LED
remains on for approximately one second, but no more than
approximately two seconds. This cycling repeats as needed during
the execution of the self test. The printer performs the cycle at least
once. Additional cycles can be interrupted at any point in the cycle
