IMPORTANT:
Should any of the following points occur, immediately pull the plug of the
Ultra Cooker and walk away until it has cooled down.
Excessive water (other than condensation) begins to drip from under the handle or lid.
Excessive steam begins to escape from the lid's handle.
Excessive steam begins to release from under or around the edge of the lid.
The signaling valve seems to be clogged or does not rise. It may take up to 20 minutes
before reaching the desired cooking time.
The signaling valve does not drop down soon after the Ultra Cooker has automatically
timed and completed cooking your meal. (It may take up to 20 minutes before the pres-
sure drops of its own accord).

COMMON SENSE PRECAUTIONS:

Use only on a stable heat-resistant surface.
Do not handle or move the Ultra Cooker while in use.
Cook only in the provided stainless steel removable interior pot.
Keep face and hands away from the pressure release valve.
Check pressure release valve and the pressure release valve cover before each use to
assure that neither are blocked.
Let pressure drop of its own accord or use potholders when placing the pressure
release valve in the "up" position.
Never use the cooker if the gaskets are torn, worn, sticky, tacky or show any signs of
being weak.

Important Cord and Plug Information:

If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your cooker may not

a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
Plug the Ultra Cooker into an appropriate electrical polarized outlet only. As a safety fea-
ture, the 120V appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This
plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
