Keep hands and face clear of the pressure release valve and the pressure
CAUTION:
indicator rod when the appliance is in operation. Hot steam and liquid may be emitted
during use.
WHEN COOKING UNDER PRESSURE, THE APPLIANCE CANNOT BE

OPENED ONCE PRESSURE IS REACHED. DO NOT TRY TO FORCE THE LID OPEN.
15. You can press the Warm/Cancel button to start the keep warm function or cancel the
keep warm mode. When cooking is completed, the pressure cooker will automatically
turn into a warming mode for 24 hours indicated by four dashes (----) on the display.
Four zeros (0000) indicates that the function is cancelled.
16. After cooking is completed there are two ways of releasing the pressure:
You can wait for the pressure cooker to cool down without any assistance
Option one:
until the pressure drops. This natural release normally takes 20 minutes.
You can release the pressure by hand using a silicon mitt without waiting
Option two:
(fast release). (See Fig. 10) To fast release the pressure, wearing the silicone mitt, rotate
the pressure release valve to the "Release" position at its uppermost position. As it is
raised, steam will begin to pour out of the top of the handle.
WARNING:
1. Use caution when opening lid. There may be a minimal suction of the interior pot to
the gasket.
2. Use caution when separating because steam escapes as soon as the lid is opened.
3. Never place your face or hands over the Ultra Cooker when removing the lid.
4. Always use the silicone mitt when handling the hot cooking pot.

17. After the steam has been fully released, the lid may be removed. Hold the base
handle firmly using silicone mitt in one hand, grasp the lid handle with the other hand
and rotate the lid clockwise.
After making soups and stock, allow several minutes before releasing the
CAUTION:
pressure by hand using silicone mitt and remove the lid to avoid the hot liquid from
boiling over.
