For best results do not overfill. Close lid, position pressure release valve in the down
pressure position.
4. Press the "Steam" function key on the control panel and press start. A built-in thermostat
will automatically steam your food or you may choose to use the Manual Time for
controlling the texture of what you are steaming.

Slow Cooker function.

by pressing either the "+or "-" button.

This cooking time CANNOT be changed once it's set.
IV. Preset Function:
When using the "Preset" function you must first select one of the menu buttons on the wheel.
For fowl press "Poultry" then press "Preset"; then "Start" to begin the process. Two hours will
automatically show on the wheel when you press the "Preset" button. You need to press the
"+" button to increase the delay time. The preset function can be set up to 10 hours. When
cooking time is completed the cooker will shut off automatically and go into a warming mode
– four dashes will appear on the front panel (----).
It should be noted that the "Preset" function includes the cooking time. If you set the "Preset"
for 4 hours the time will immediately begin to countdown. For instance, assuming you want to
delay the cooking time for 4 hours. The "automatic" pressure cooking time for your ingredients
may be 30 minutes. When the "Preset" function time gets to 3:30 the pressure will begin to
rise and at the end of the 4 hours your food is cooked.
The "Preset" function does NOT mean you have to wait 4 hours before your food begins cook-
ing. It means that at the end of the 4 hours your food is cooked.
IMPORTANT: Since overcooked food cannot be corrected, it is advisable to err on the undercooked
side by cooking an unfamiliar food for a shorter period of time than you may think necessary. You
can always go back and continue cooking if needed.
Cooks exactly like a regular slow cooker with cooking time up to 10 hours.
The preset function allows you to delay cooking from 2 to 10 hours.
