Intel PXA27x Processor Card (processor card), Intel
Manager Integrated Circuit (Low DropOut) Card (PMIC card), SRAM, and nominal I/O capability.
Thus, the card can serve as a minimum bootable stand-alone system, requiring only an external
battery or power supply.

When docked with the main board, the daughter card becomes a full-featured evaluation system.
The daughter card memory and off-chip components operate from the 1.8-volt power supply,
which provides the best power efficiency.
The daughter card includes the following features:

JTAG in-circuit emulation (ICE)

— main board
— Lithium (Li) ion main battery, with provisions for recharging (not included with the kit)
— 5 VDC external power supply (not included with the kit)

Complex programmable logic device (CPLD) for memory-bus transceiver control logic and
address decoding

Logic analyzer connectors

Test points
•
Switches and jumpers for configuration and testing
