Reduced or no product flow from
the dispense arm or remote dis-
penser, if attached (low DI dispense
flow).
System Alarms and Errors
If an error occurs in the Thermo Scientific TII system, the System Alarm LED will illuminate and an
error message will appear on the display.

Possible Causes
Tubing not installed in fitting com-
pletely.
Plugged 0.2 micron final filter.
Reservoir not connected.
Reservoir improperly located too
low.
DI pump not functioning.
Pinched tubing.
Air purge not complete.
Possible Causes
Display interface cable not attached
at both ends
Display board out of tolerance
Reservoir interface cable not
attached at both ends.
Interface board not connected.
Interface board, control board, or
reservoir board out of tolerance.
Alternate reservoir in use.
Float cable not securely connected.
Action
Mark tubing and re-install per
"Tubing Installation."
Replace final filter (Part no. D3750)
as indicated in "0.2 Micron Filter
Replacement" section.
Reconnect reservoir. Ensure quick
connect fitting in tube from reser-
voir is fully engaged.
Verify reservoir outlet is located at
or above system inlet.
Replace pump (Part no.
PU1190X1)
Check tubing inside system and
between reservoir and system.
Allow up to 24 hours of recircula-
tion for purging all air from the fluid
path.
Action
Check cable connection between the
display and TII system
Replace display module
Check cable connections.
Check cable connection to control
board.
Replace board (PC1403X2,
PC1403X3, PC1406X1, or
PC1406X2.)
Using Thermo Scientific TII menu
screens, set reservoir type to "Alter-
nate" (in "System Options").
Check float cable connection.
