Installation
Optional Accessories
1. To initiate the N.I.S.T. Calibration Menu, proceed as follows:

2. From the "N.I.S.T. Calibration"- Menu, select "Start Calibration".
3. Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the desired function.
4. Confirm the choice by pressing "OK".

5. Select "Yes" in the following display to start of the "N.I.S.T. Calibration".
6. Once the N.I.S.T. calibration has begun, the following text messages can appear
a. "Remove any plugs from N.I.S.T port"
b. "Install N.I.S.T. module E1403X5!"
7. After confirming the installation of the N.I.S.T. module E1403X5, the display will show the
message "In Process". The message "In Process" will blink during the duration of the calibration.

Note The program will guide you through the individual steps and will prompt the
installation of the N.I.S.T. module.
Note By launching the "Start-Calibration"-Function the TII-System will change its state
(it will enter the IDLE-Mode). After the calibration is complete and the "N.I.S.T.
Calibration"-Menu is once again entered, the TII-System will automatically return to its
initial state before the calibration started.
i. If there is any plug attached on the N.I.S.T.-plug on the rear side of the TII-System (see
figure 3-27) the program will request you to remove it from this rear side plug connector.
ii. After the removal of the plug select "OK" to confirm the removal
i. The program requests the installation of the N.I.S.T. module E1403X5 into the
N.I.S.T.-plug on the rear side of the TII-System (see figure 3-27)
ii. After the installation of the N.I.S.T. module E1403X5, the installation has to be
confirmed by selecting "OK".
Note The calibration "In Process" will take up to five minutes to complete. During that
time you must keep the module plugged into the TII system.
