Possible Causes
UV interlock actuator or sensor out
of position.
UV interlock cable not connected.
UV interlock sensor not function-
ing.
Reservoir UV lamp cable not
plugged in.
Reservoir UV lamp burnt out or
inadequate UV output.
Reservoir UV lamp not properly
connected to UV cable connector.
Reservoir UV ballast out of toler-
ance.
System UV lamp cable not plugged
into control board.
System UV lamp burnt out or inad-
equate UV output.
Chamber seal is compromised and
system UV lamp is getting wet.
System UV lamp not properly con-
nected to UV cable connector.
System UV ballast out of tolerance.
Check tank level.
No water flow to DI loop.
Pinched tube preventing water flow
through DI loop (no water is being
dispensed).
Flow sensor not connected to con-
trol board or connection is bad.
Flow sensor failure.
Has the tank been emptied and
refilled?
Action
Check that the actuator is attached
to the cover and the sensor is
mounted to reservoir.
Check cable connections at the res-
ervoir circuit board.
Replace interlock sensor
(SW1406X1 for 30L, or
SW1407X1for 60L).
Plug reservoir UV lamp cable into
control board.
Replace reservoir UV lamp
(LMX31) and reset timer.
Check connection to UV cover and
inside UV cover.
Replace ballast (TN1406X1). Call
Technical Services.
Plug system UV lamp cable into
control board.
Replace system UV lamp (LMX13),
and reset timer.
Replace quartz sleeve and o-rings
(TU733X1 and GSX62).
Check connection at UV chamber.
Replace system ballast
(TN1403X1). Call Technical Ser-
vices.
Tank must be filled 25% or higher.
Check reservoir connections. Check
for air lock at DI pump.
Check tubing and repair as neces-
sary.
Check connection.
Replace sensor (ME1190X1).
Possible air in the line, allow the
unit to sit for several hours in RUN
mode to allow lines to refill.
