Installation
3. Connect the AC adapter provided with your system to the Multi-
Mount Rack. Plug the adapter into a standard 120-vac electrical
outlet.
!
CAUTION
Do not plug the A/C adapters into a 240-vac outlet because
you will damage the adapter and the module. You must first
obtain an adapter to convert 240 vac to 120 vac.
Installing the Rack-Mount Modules
The Rack-Mount Modules slide into the Multi-Mount Rack. The
Multi-Mount Rack holds up to 12 Rack-Mount Modules. Follow
these steps to insert the Rack-Mount Modules:
1. Line up the top and bottom edges of the Rack-Mount Module
circuit board with the top and bottom grooves on the Multi-
Mount Rack. The top edge is the one with the ejector button,
and the bottom edge is the one with the light-emitting diode
(LED).
2. Gently push the Rack-Mount Module into the Multi-Mount Rack
until the connector on the back of the Rack-Mount Module
seats itself into the connector on the Multi-Mount Rack.
