Installation
Follow these steps to install the Multi-Mount Rack:

CAUTION
Do not plug the A/C adapters into the electrical outlets until
instructed to do so in the following procedure.
1. Create a cross-connect or wall field so that the 50-pin
Amphenol cable can be used to connect the DEFINITY analog
circuit pack (the 8-port TN742 or the 16-port TN746) and
dedicated central office lines to the 50-pin Amphenol port on the
Multi-Mount Rack (see Figure 3-3). See the DEFINITY®
Communications System Generic 3, Installation for Single-
Carrier Cabinets manual for complete instructions.

2. Connect the Administration Port to the system administrator's
computer or terminal by using an RS-232 DB9 cable.
