2. Press the spacebar until the desired format is displayed. Press

The transceiver's buffer provides a way of handling data "over-runs,"
where more data is passing through the

The menus in this section are used to access the radio's built-in tools for
maintaining the radio and evaluating performance parameters.

Managing Configuration Files

The Configuration Management Menu (Figure 58) is used to load new
configuration files into the radio or to export existing files, as well as
perform other management tasks related to configuration files. The
Menu is accessed via the following path:
Menu>>Configuration Management
Configuration files are especially useful when programming a large
number of radios in a network, when each radio will have essentially the
same settings. Rather than individually programming each radio via the
menu system, configuration files expedite this process by automatically
