This setting determines the diagnostics data communication rate in
bits-per-second (bps). To change the setting, proceed as follows:
1. Select
Dlink Baud Rate
in the field to the right of the item.
2. Press the spacebar until the desired entry is shown (

6.9 Security Settings

The transceiver offers a number of safeguards against unauthorized
management access and protection of payload data. All of these features
are accessed via the Security Configuration Menu (Figure 46).

Setting a Password

When the transceiver is shipped from the factory, the password is nor-
mally set to the default entry of
it be changed at the time of installation to one that is known only to the
Administrator or authorized user of the system. The password should be
changed periodically to maintain the best security. To set a new pass-
word, proceed as follows:
1. Select
from the Security Configuration Menu. The screen
