Overview of the disk mounting kits
The HDD/SSD modules are mounted into mounting kits, consisting of
– a mounting frame
– a backplane (PCH or SAS) and
– the HDD/SSD module
The mounting kits are placed at their respective mounting locations (see section
"Locations of the drives inside the server blade" on page
There are two kinds of disk mounting kits available:
