Removing a Password

To remove your User Password, complete the following steps:
1. Disable the User Password parameter in the System Security menu by pressing the
left or right arrow key to select None.
2. Press the Esc key to return to the System Security menu and then press the Esc key
again to exit Setup. The Exit Setup screen appears.
3. Choose Yes to save your settings and exit Setup. Your previous password will be
removed from CMOS.
The disk drive control features enable or disable the read/write functions of disk drives.
These features can also control the diskette drive boot function to prevent loading
operating systems or other programs from a certain drive while the other drives remain
operational.
The following table describes the functions of the drive control parameters:
