To search the tel book

Press the [TEL BOOK] key.

Using the [ ] and [ ] keys, select
"SEARCH", and then press the
[YES] key.
A screen appears, allowing you to
enter the text to be searched for.

Using the one-touch dial keys, enter
the first few characters of the name
programmed for the desired
recipient.

Enter the name programmed in
the one-touch dial key or the speed dial number. (For details on
entering text, refer to "Entering Text" on page 3-30.)
❍ From 1 to 10 characters can be entered.

Press the [ENTER] key.
The number of names beginning
with the text entered in step 3 is
displayed.
To select a recipient from the
displayed search results, skip to
step 7.
? Are there no one-touch dialing
or speed dialing numbers with
names beginning with the entered text?
➜
After "(0)" is displayed, the screen allowing you to enter the search
text appears.

To narrow down the search results
even further, press the [YES] key,
and then enter more search text.
