REPLACE AND PROGRAM THE ECM
• With the X-431 scan tool, view active DTCs in the ECM.
• Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure .
Is DTC B3042 or B3043 still present?
Yes >>
Replace and program ECM.
No >>
The system is now operating properly.
Reassemble the vehicle and verify the customers complaint is repaired.
