(4) E.K.C. Function Setting
You can use the E.K.C. counter to manage the copier activities of up to
1000 E.K.C. accounts with password-protected access.
When the E.K.C. is enabled, the system can be used only with a code.
Copies can then be managed based on this code. To avoid excessive
copying, each E.K.C. account can be assigned a copy limit.
The E.K.C. significantly simplifies the calculating of copy costs.
In the key operator mode, the settings for the E.K.C. can be protected with
a master code. The master access code can only be set up by a service
technician. To take advantage of this feature, contact your technical
representative.
Calling up E.K.C. Mode
Call up E.K.C. mode to change the settings for the E.K.C. counter

Call up key operator mode.
The key operator mode menu is displayed.

In the key operator mode menu press the [4] E.K.C. function key.
A submenu appears. You are now in E.K.C. mode.

The window prompting for the master code appears.

Input the 8-digit master code with the touch screen keypad and
confirm your input with [OK].
You are now in E.K.C. mode.

Reenter the master code and confirm your selection with [OK].

If the master code still is not accepted, find out whether the code
has been changed.
