If one of the systems is switched off in tandem mode, the copy
cycle has to be completely reconfigured and restarted.

How can tandem mode be stopped completely?
Press the [STOP] key on the control panel of the master unit. A
dialog window is displayed on the touch screen. Confirm the
deletion with [EXIT].

How can output be terminated on the slave unit?
Press the [STOP] key on the control panel of the slave unit. A
dialog window is displayed on the touch screen. Confirm the
deletion with [EXIT]. The copy job is then completed on the master
unit.

What happens if a memory overflow occurs on one of the
systems?
Master unit memory overflow:
The scanning cycle for the originals is canceled immediately.
Tandem mode is temporarily stopped. For more information, see
page 8-8.
Slave unit memory overflow:
The output of copies is started automatically on the slave unit only
if there is enough free memory, for example after processing
several reserve copy jobs. In the meantime, the copies are output
only on the master unit. As soon as enough free memory is created
on the slave unit, the output continues on both systems.
If a specified time period elapses before sufficient free memory is
created, the copy job is completed on the master unit.
