5. DAILY MAINTENANCE

5.2 Cleaning the Paper Sensors

Accumulated dust on the paper sensors may prevent the document from being detected.
The sensors must be cleaned when necessary.
(1) Turn off the scanner.
(2) Open the top cover, holding it in the center.
(3) Wipe the two paper sensors using a cotton swab.
