Checking the Fan Speeds
You may need to check the speeds of the fans in the fan tray modules of the Avaya
G860 Media Gateway.
To check the speeds of the fan tray modules, take this step:
On the MG Status screen of the EMS (showing a graphic representation of the Avaya
G860 Media Gateway, double-click on a fan tray module area. The Fans list appears
displaying the list of fans in the selected module and their speeds.
•
The maximum speed of the fans in the FM fan tray module: large fans at 4900 -
5500 RPM; small fans at 5000 - 5600 RPM.
•
The maximum speed of the fans in the FMR auxiliary fan tray module: 10500 -
12500 RPM.
