• Remove the bearing retainer screws.
• Separate the generator housing

INSPECTION
ROTOR BEARING
Rotate the rotor bearings by hand to inspect for abnormal noise
and smooth rotation. Replace the bearing if there is anything
unusual.
Remove the bearings by using the bearing puller.
CAUTION:
The removed bearing should be replaced.

STATOR COIL CONTINUITY CHECK
Using the pocket tester, check the continuity between the lead
wires of the stator. If there is no continuity, replace the stator.
Also check that the stator core is insulated.
