• Unhook the gearshift cam stopper spring from the lower
crankcase.
• Remove the circlip

from the gearshift cam, and then draw
out the gearshift cam from the other side.
• Remove the gearshift cam stopper
®
by removing the circlip

NOTE:

When replacing the gearshift cam stopper bolt
(4),
apply a
small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" to the bolt.

Rotate the bearing
®
by hand to inspect for abnormal noise
and smooth rotation. Replace the bearing if there is any­
thing unusual.
• Remove the oil pump by removing the mounting bolts.

• Remove the O-rings and dowel pins.
