PIN LOCK is a feature which prevents the projector from being used unless
a saved password is input.
1 Turning on the PIN LOCK
1-1 Use the ▲/▼ buttons on the SECURITY menu to
select PIN LOCK and press the ► button or the
SELECT button to display the PIN LOCK on and
off menu.
1-2 Use the ▲/▼ buttons on the PIN LOCK on
and off menu to select ON and the ENTER
PIN CODE box will display.
1-3 Input a 4 part PIN code using the ▲/▼/◄/►,
SOURCE button.
The PIN Code box will appear again. Re-enter
the same PIN code. This will save the PIN code.
If the ENTER PIN CODE (or PIN Code again)
box is displayed and there is no key input
within 55 seconds, the menu will close. If necessary, repeat the process
from 1-1.
Afterwards, anytime the projector is hard-powered off and then on, the
ENTER PIN CODE box will display. Enter the saved PIN code.
The projector can be used after entering the saved PIN code. If an incorrect
PIN code is input, the ENTER PIN CODE box will display again.
If the PIN code is incorrectly input 3 times, the projector will turn off.
Afterwards the projector will turn off every time an incorrect PIN code is
input. The projector will also turn off when the ENTER PIN CODE box is
displayed and there is no key input for about 5 minutes.
This feature will activate only when the projector has been hard-powered off
and back on (AC power is turned off and on).
Please do not forget your PIN code.
2 Turning off the PIN LOCK
2-1 Follow step 1-1 to display the PIN LOCK on and off menu.
2-2 Use the ▲/▼ buttons to select OFF and the ENTER PIN CODE box will
display.
Enter the saved PIN code to turn the PIN LOCK feature off.
If the PIN code is incorrectly input 3 times, the projector will turn off.
3 If you have forgotten your PIN code
3-1 When the ENTER PIN CODE box is displayed, press and hold the
SELECT button on the remote for three seconds or press and hold the
SOURCE button for 3 seconds when pressing
the ► button on the projector. A 10 digit
Inquiring Code will display.
If the Inquiring Code is displayed and there
is no key input within approx. 5 minutes, the
projector will turn off.
3-2 Contact your dealer with the 10 digit Inquiring Code. Your PIN code will
be sent after your user registration information is confirmed.
