FILTER MESSAGE
Use the ▲/▼ button to set the timer which notifies users when it is
time to replace the filter unit:
After choosing the desired hours parameter (excluding OFF), the
message "REMINDER *** HRS PASSED ...." will appear after the
timer reaches the interval time set by this feature (89).
When OFF is chosen, the message will not appear. Use this feature to
select an appropriate time parameter for your projector environment
and to keep your filter clean.
• Monitor and clean the filter unit periodically, even if there is no
message. If the air filter becomes blocked by dust or other matter,
the internal temperature will rise, which can cause the projector to
malfunction and reduce the projector's lifetime.
• Take good care of the projector's operating environment and the
filter unit.

• This feature can be used to prevent tampering or accidental

Selecting this item displays the COMMUNICATION
menu.
In this menu, you can configure the projector's serial
communication settings using the CONTROL port.
• Highlight an item using the cursor buttons ▲/▼.
Then press the ► button to open the submenu for
the item you selected. Or, press the ◄ button to go
to the previous menu without changing the setup.
Each submenu can be operated as described above.
• When COMMUNICATION TYPE (54) is set to
OFF, all the other items in the COMMUNICATION
menu are invalid.
