AUTO IMAGE
Using the ◄/► buttons adjusts the horizontal phase to eliminate flicker.
Right ó Left
• This feature is only available for computer and component signals.
It is not available for LAN, USB TYPE A, USB TYPE B or HDMI™
port signals..
Using the ◄/► buttons adjusts the horizontal size.
Small ó Large
• This feature is only available for computer signals. It is not avail-
able for LAN, USB TYPE A, USB TYPE B or HDMI™ port signals.
• When the adjustment is excessive, the image will not be displayed
correctly.
• Images may appear degraded when this feature is operated, but
this is not a malfunction.
Selecting this causes the projector to automatically adjust.
For a computer signal
The vertical position, the horizontal position and the horizontal
phase will be automatically adjusted.
Make sure that the application window is set to its maximum size
before using this feature. A dark image may still be incorrectly
adjusted. Use a bright image when adjusting.
For a video signal and S-video signal
The video standard best suited for the respective input signal will be
selected automatically. This feature is available only when VIDEO
STANDARD has been set to AUTO in the INPUT menu (37). The
vertical position and horizontal position will be automatically set to
the default.
For a component video signal
The vertical position and horizontal position will be automatically set
to the default. The horizontal phase will be automatically adjusted.
• The automatic adjustment feature requires approx. 10 seconds.
Also this feature may not function correctly with some inputs.
• When this feature is performed for a video signal, an extra item
such as a line may appear outside the image.
• When this feature is performed for a computer signal, a black
frame may be displayed on the edge of the screen, depending on
the PC model.
• The items adjusted by this feature may vary when AUTO IMAGE is
set to FINE or DISABLE in the OPTION>SERVICE menu (52).
