This feature allows you to capture an image for use as a
SNAPSHOT image which then can be used as both a BLANK
screen and a START UP LOGO screen. Display the image you want
to capture before executing the following procedure.
1. Selecting this item displays a dialog
called "CAPTURE NEW". It will ask
you if are ready to start capturing an
image from the current screen.
Please wait for the target image to be displayed, and press the
SELECT button. The image will freeze and the frame for capturing
will appear.
2. Using the ▲/▼/◄/► buttons, adjust the
frame position.
Move the frame to the position of the
image which you want to use. The frame
may not move for some input signals.
To start the capture, press the SELECT
button on the remote control.
The capturing process may take several minutes.
When the capture process is completed, the captured screen and
the following message is displayed for several seconds:
"Capture success."
If the capture failed, the following message is displayed:
"A capturing error has occurred. Please try again."
• This feature cannot be selected if the CAPTURE LOCK is set to
ON (45).
• This feature cannot be selected if the SNAPSHOT PASSWORD is
set to ON in the SECURITY menu (65).
• This feature is unavailable for LAN, USB TYPE A, USB TYPE B
and HDMI™ port signals.
