6.6 Sending an A4-size document with a landscape orien-
tation ("Rotation TX" function)
Normally, when a document is loaded, it is loaded lengthwise (with the long
edges toward the front and back of the machine).
Since an A4-size document loaded crosswise (with the short edges toward
the front and back of the machine) will be treated as an A3-size document,
the document is reduced when it is transmitted if the recipient's fax machine
only uses A4-size paper.
In this case, if the "Rotation TX" function is selected, an A4-size document
will be sent as an A4-size document, regardless of the orientation in which it
is loaded.

To send a rotated transmission

0 Only an A4-size document can be sent a rotated fax.

Press the [Fax/Scan] key to display the Fax mode screen.

Touch [FAX Menu].

Touch [Rotation TX] on
the Set 1 tab.

[Rotation TX] is high-
