6. While holding both ends of the roll, align the edges of the
paper with the paper holders and load the paper in the
manual feed slot until it meets resistance. The printer
automatically feeds the paper to the loading position.
Note:
If the paper feeds unevenly, pull it out. Then load it again.
7. Close the banner paper cover.
Cutting off the printed banner paper
EPSON recommends use of the optional Banner Paper Cutter
when cutting off banner paper. When your print job finishes
printing, the printer feeds the paper to the default tear-off
position (as long as the Auto tear-off feature is on in the default
setting mode). Press the Micro Adjust
the paper forward or back. See the user's guide that comes with
the cutter for instructions on how to use the cutter. If you don't
have the Banner Paper Cutter, use scissors to cut the paper.
Note:
The printer automatically saves the cut-off position and it remains in
effect until you change it again, even after turning off the printer.
Removing banner paper
To switch to another type of paper or to remove banner paper
temporarily, follow the steps below.
1. Make sure the banner paper is in the paper loading position
(the position of the paper after the printer loads it). If the
paper is in the cut-off position, press the Load/Eject
button to feed it backward to the loading position.
