connect terminals, and measure
at the pick-up harness side.
D Engine: Idling
(1) The voltage between 3 and earth
OK: 4.8 - 5.2 V
(2) The voltage between 1 and earth
OK: 0.9 - 1.5 V
(3) The voltage between 2 and earth
OK: 0.5 V or less

Measure at engine-ECU connector
C-163 <M/T> or engine-A/T-ECU
connector C-175 <A/T>.
D Measure the voltage at the
engine-A/T-ECU terminal.

OK: 0.9 - 1.5 V

Check the trouble symptom.

Check the following connectors:
B-30 <LHD>, (C-47, C-81, C-114)
<RHD>, C-164 <M/T>, C-175 <A/T>
Check the harness wire between the
brake vacuum sensor and the
engine-ECU <M/T> or
engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>, and repair if
necessary.
(2) NG
Replace the brake vacuum sensor.
Check the trouble symptoms.
Check the following connectors:
B-30 <LHD>, (C-81, C-114) <RHD>,
C-163<M/T>, C-175 <A/T>
Check the harness wire between the
brake vacuum sensor and the
engine-ECU <M/T> or
engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>, and repair if
necessary.
(3) NG
Check the following connectors:
B-30 <LHD>, (C-81, C-114) <RHD>,
C-163<M/T>, C-175 <A/T>
Check the harness wire between the
brake vacuum sensor and the
engine-ECU <M/T> or
engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>, and repair if
necessary.
