save backup components and writer metadata documents
remove a specific or all available ZDB-to-disk and ZDB-to-disk+tape sessions,
together with theirs replicas, from the VSSDB and from the disk array
remove a reference to a specific or to all available backup sessions from the
VSSDB
disables the specified or all ZDB-to-disk or ZDB-to-disk+tape sessions
enables the specified or all ZDB-to-disk, ZDB-to-disk+tape sessions
initialize the VSSDB
resolve the application systems in the Data Protector VSS integration cell.
OPTIONS
-version
Displays the version of the omnidbvss command.
-help
Displays the usage synopsis for the omnidbvss command.
-init
Initializes the VSSDB.
IMPORTANT: All data including sessions and created replicas is deleted from
the VSSDB.
-list session [-barlist barlist]
Queries the VSSDB and lists all ZDB-to-disk and ZDB-to-disk+tape session IDs. If
-barlist is specified, only the IDs of the ZDB-to-disk and ZDB-to-disk+tape
sessions that were created using the backup specification are listed.
-list session_persistent [-barlist barlist] [-older_than
YYYYY/MM/DD]
Queries the VSSDB and lists all available backup session (ZDB to disk, ZDB to
disk+tape, and ZDB to tape) IDs.
If -barlist is specified, only the IDs of the sessions that were created using
the backup specification are listed.
If -older_than is specified, only the sessions IDs that were created before the
specified date are listed.
-get session {SessionID [SessionID...]|–barlist BackupSpec-
Name|–all}
[–detail] [-save_metadata Directory]
Displays information about the ZDB-to-disk and ZDB-to-disk+tape sessions.
