Format The layout of the received message described in terms of an array of words is:

Response The receiver responds to system message - 1 47 as follows:
If the receiver...
Does not handle message - 1 47
Does not recognize the version of the received
message
Does not recognize the device name or one of its
qualifiers
If none of the preceding conditions apply, the receiver returns the requested information by calling
REPLY with file-system error 0 (operation successful) and with data placed in the reply data buffer
in the following form:

defined in the file ZCOMDDL.
= Length in bytes of symbolic name of
physical hardware excluding the trailing
null (can be from 1 to 63)
= Symbolic name of physical hardware (null
terminated). This is the same name that
is held in the CONFIG file and is the same
as the SCF object name.
= Length in bytes of subsystem manager name
excluding the trailing null (can be from 0
to 47)
= Subsystem manager name (null terminated);
can be either a simple name (for example,
$PDEV1) or a complete process descriptor
can be null (that is, all words set to -1)
can be null (that is, all words set to -1)
= Length in bytes of device-specific
information; must be greater than or equal
to 0 and less than 2048
Device-specific information; as they are
made available, structures defined by the
various subsystems are describe
