STAND-BY mode.
Select the program entry mode.
Select Program key Pl, P2, or P3.
Enter the Program name using the @, 0, @ ,
characters.
(Refer to "Character Entry;' p. 39)
If a name is not desired, press the START/COPY
key.
Go to next step to use timer. If polling is to take
place immediately when Program key is used,
go to step 7.
Enter a 2-digit hour (00 23).
Enter a 2-digit minute (00 - 59).
Enter a day-of-the-week code (0 - 6) or skip step
if operation to take place within 24 hours.
Press the START/COPY key.
Select the polling operation.
Press the START/COPY key.
Enter number of remote unit by using a rapid
key, speed-dial code or full telephone number:
Press a rapid key (01 - 12);

Press the SPEED key and enter a speed-dial

code (01 - 32); or
Enter a full telephone number.
l
Press the START/COPY key.
Press the STOP/C key to return machine to
STAND-BY mode.
