5. A tone sounds on your machine and the
H A N D S E T - T H E N P R E S S
message, "LIFT
in the display.
TALK" appears
6. Pick-up the handset (if not done so already)
and press the TALK key.
The message "TALK MODE" appears in the
display.
After a few seconds, voice communication
with the other party is possible.
7. Upon completion of the conversation, ask
the remote operator to press their START
key.
8. Select a MODE key setting if necessary.
9. Wait for the facsimile answerback tone,
then press the START/COPY KEY.
10. When the message "FAX CONNECTING"
appears in the display, hang-up the
handset.
Transmission begins. Upon completion, the
machine returns to the STAND-BY mode.
