F. COMMUNICATION ERROR CODE REFERENCE TABLE

The following codes may appear in the "NOTE" column of the Transaction Report
and the Activity (Send/Receive) Report. Refer to the appropriate table, based
upon whether your machine was sending or receiving, and whether the other
remote machine was a G3 or G2 unit.

XV. TROUBLESHOOTING
Able to recognize handshake signal, but the handshake signal
has errors.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal from the receiver side.
Line disconnected during transmission,
Line disconnected after modem speed fall-back.
Line disconnected during transmission of multi-page.
No response from receiver side to picture signal after no response
at transmitter side to TALK mode request from receiver.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal for next page at receiver
side.
No response from receiver side or "disconnect signal" is received
at transmitter side.
Able to recognize handshake signal, but the handshake signal
has errors.
Line disconnected during reception.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal from the transmitter side.
Cannot recognize the last handshake signal from the transmit-
ter side.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal for next page from the
transmitter side in the case of mode change.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal for next page from the
transmitter side.
Cannot recognize the handshake signal in the case of TALK
request.
No response from transmitter or "disconnect signal" is received
at receiver side.
