This chapter describes how to use the options that display on the menu when you
choose the Configure menu on the menu bar. Each of these options is explained in the
following sections.

Configuring Director Identification

Perform this procedure to configure the director name, description, location, and
contact person for HAFM. The information displays in multiple dialog boxes
throughout the application. In addition, the Name, Location, and Contact variables
configured in the Configure Identification dialog box correspond respectively to the
SNMP variables sysName, sysLocation, and sysContact. These variables are used by
SNMP management workstations when obtaining data from managed directors.
Follow these steps to configure the director identification.
1. At the Hardware View page, choose Configure > Identification. The Configure
Identification dialog box displays, as shown in
