software supported by HP for Continuous Access EVA and XP Continuous Access. For more information,
see the HP StorageWorks SAN Design Reference Guide, available at
SDGManuals.

Storage system rules and guidelines

The MPX200 Multifunction Router configured for FCIP is supported for use with the following HP
Continuous Access storage systems:
• EVA4400/4400 with embedded switch
• EVA4000/4100/6000/6100/8000/8100
• EVA6400/8400
• EVA3000/5000
• XP24000/20000
• XP12000/10000
The MPX200 Multifunction Router is supported for use in all HP-supported HP Continuous Access
EVA configurations, including the standard two-fabric, five-fabric, and six-fabric configurations.
HP Continuous Access supports RCS and non-RCS LUNs with FCIP extension.
HP MPX200 Multifunction Router supports the minimum IP bandwidth/maximum DR groups.
The minimum bandwidth required for XP Continuous Access is 16 Mb/s per path.
The MPX200 Multifunction Router is supported with current EVA storage software applications
such as HP Continuous Access EVA, Command View EVA, Business Copy, SSSU, and Replication
Solutions Manager.
