This is an informative message not
FCIP Error an error. The message indicates that
an FCIP was removed or modified.
Connectivity with the remote peer
has been interrupted. Check the
FCIP Error
Ethernet cabling and path to the re-
mote peer.
Indicates an error in the received
FCIP PDU Framing. The router will
FCIP Error
disconnect and reconnect with the
remote router to clear the error.
Indicates that the receiver could not
decompress a received FCIP frame.
FCIP Error The router will disconnect and recon-
nect with the remote router to clear
the error.
Invalid FCIP header received. The
header is invalid or improperly
FCIP Error framed. The router will disconnect
and reconnect with the remote
router to clear the error.
FCIP PDU transmit request was rejec-
ted, typically caused by the TCP
connection closing when the send
was submitted. Can also be caused
FCIP Error by lack of resources to accommod-
ate the send (should never happen).
If this persists and the TCP connec-
tion is up, a reboot is required to
clear the condition.
The remote peer terminated the TCP
connection via a FIN or RST. The
FCIP Error
router will attempt to restore the TCP
connection.
Unable to notify the remote router
that the local FC link came up or
FCIP Error went down. The TCP connection will
be closed and the router will attempt
to reconnect to the remote router.
The FC link went down. Check the
FCIP Error FC cabling and FC switch or drive
statistics.
The TCP link went down. Check the
FCIP Error Ethernet cabling and Ethernet switch
or peer device statistics.
