Possible Cause

web site, but the PC is running
Windows NT 3.51 or lower.

create a log file where the steps of
installation are recorded, but it could
not create the log file.
You are running the installation
program on Windows NT or 2000 and
do not have permission to write to the
root directory of the PC.

Check the name of the downloaded
file and/or the folder to which driver
files were extracted. The names
should specify the operating system
of the PC on which you are attempting
