Problem
Nothing appears on
screen.

The screen is
flickering.

Possible Cause
The screen saver is
activated.
The LED power indicator,
, is blinking green.
The screen controls need to
be adjusted.
The computer is set for a
different display.
The vertical refresh rate is
insufficient on your external
monitor.
Possible Solution
Press any key or touch the TouchPad to return to your
display.
The system is in a power saving mode.Toggle the
suspend key combination Fn + Esc (see
Keys" on page 2 - 22).
Toggle the screen control key combinations Fn + F9
and F10 (see "Opening the LCD" on page 3 -
you're connected to an external monitor, make sure it's
plugged in and turned on. You should also check the
monitor's own brightness and contrast controls.
Toggle the screen display key combination, Fn + F6
(see "Attaching a Monitor (CRT)" on page 3 -
an external monitor is connected, turn it on.
Avoid using the Simultaneous display mode. Use LCD
only or CRT only.
Switch to a lower resolution and/or fewer colors.
Adjust the refresh frequency in the display controls
